Karma Presents “Anokha” Event October 4th 2008 - Reviewed by Bhangragigs
This was our second visit to a Karma event and the question was would it live up the standard of the last one we reviewed, well all we can say is that we were defiantly not let down, The event was Reviewed by the Bhangragigs Team member Aki, The Party started at 9pm and was in full flow from 10:30pm , The Venue was absolutely a Brilliant choice , A Great Location with Car Parking very easy and travelling by Tube was no problem at all, the Venue itself was Very Classy and the perfect size. The audience at the event was approx 180-220, It seemed like the venue could capture about 250 so the amount present was just Right.
The crowd consisted of a good mix and was a Very similar crowd to the previous event ,male to female ratio was About 55% Women to 45% Men.
The Music on the Night was again done by 4DJ, Manj and the boys did a great job and played some great tunes, Pav from 4DJ played the Dhol and what a performance he did.
Infamous Ranj performed a 10 Min Dance set and did a good job, his performance was much better than his previous one.
The Exclusive “Karma” awards for Best Looking ( Male/Female), Best Dancer ( Male/Female) took place at About 1am and was well presented by Tina. All in all a very good and enjoyable evening ,once again the Bhangragigs Team give the Night the Thumbs up ,If you Love your Bhangra Music and want to enjoy yourselves with a mature professional crowd make sure you check out future Karma Events.
